Clerk (Community Interviewer) - Isiolo

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identification and registration of potential participants
  • Ensure consistent implementation of the research protocol over time
  • Schedule participants for follow-ups
  • Complete study forms accurately & completely
  • Ensure s/he has the requisite supplies in good time
  • Ensure specimens for transfer to the County laboratory are properly tracked and transported in a timely manner
  • Work closely with the entire research team to resolve problems/queries
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive research information
  • Participate in monthly program meetings
  • Must be able to relate well with MOH staff and CHVs and the community
  • Perform any other duties assigned/delegated by the study management.

1 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D+ and above or its equivalent from a recognized institution Mandatory
2 Proficiency in computer application Mandatory
3 Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swahili Mandatory
4 Experience in electronic data collection e.g. smartphone, tablets Mandatory
5 Be a resident or willing to live and work in the study area Mandatory
6 Experience in working in a research /hospital setting is an added advantage Added Advantage
7 Planning and Organization Skills Mandatory
8 Communication Skills Mandatory
9 Interpersonal Skills Mandatory
