Key Responsibilities:

  • i.Developing documentation for Dynamics 365 Business Central applications and drawing up hardware specifications according to instructions;
  • ii.Analysing, designing, coding, testing, and implementing Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions and security systems;
  • iii.Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive grants management system leveraging advanced ERP technologies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices;
  • iv.Conduct detailed business process reengineering to optimize grant management workflows;
  • v.Integrate the grants management system with existing financial systems, ensuring seamless data flow and robust financial reporting capabilities;
  • vi.Utilize ERP systems such as Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle for customization and configuration to meet specific business and compliance requirements.
  • vii.Support the establishment of a one-stop-shop grants management unit by integrating key functions such as finance, HR, procurement, audit, compliance, and legal into a unified platform;
  • viii.Ensure the integrated system architecture supports comprehensive grant management, budgeting, and auditing functionalities;
  • ix.Implement security protocols and compliance measures to meet local and international regulatory standards, including intellectual property and data protection laws;
  • x.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system scalability and operational efficiency.
  • xi.Develop system documentation, including configurations, business processes, and user guidelines;
  • xii.Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionalities and compliance with stakeholder requirements;
  • xiii.Provide end-user support and training, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring effective system usage;
  • xiv.Monitor system performance post-implementation, identifying areas for improvement and optimization, and implementing necessary enhancements;
  • xv.Maintaining an up-to-date equipment maintenance register;
  • xvi.Installing, configuring, and monitoring Dynamics 365 Business Central components and integrations with other systems;
  • xvii.Updating and maintaining the Institute’s Dynamics 365 Business Central environment
  • xviii.Performing regular data and application backups for Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • xix.Mentoring staff and providing technical guidance on Dynamics 365 Business Central.

1 i.At least four (4) years of relevant work experience. Mandatory
2 ii.Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; Mandatory
3 iii.Proven experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central development, including AL language programming and extensions; Mandatory
4 iv.Proven experience in Microsoft NAV development as an added advantage; Added Advantage
5 v.Proven experience in mobile apps development as an added advantage; Added Advantage
6 vi.Professional certification such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate, MCSE, MCSA, MCSD, N+, A+, or any other equivalent certification from a recognized institution; Mandatory
7 vii.Completion of a supervisory course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized institution; Mandatory
