Key Responsibilities:
- i.Development of laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- ii.Preparation of laboratory reagents
- iii.Perform micronutrient testing amongst others using Immunoassays and ElIS techniques
- iv.Perform next generation sequencing (NGS) using nanopore technologies
- v.Perform HRP2/3 gene deletions in Plasmodium falciparum using a novel multiplex bead-based assay (MBA) on MAGPIX® System
- vi.Validate and Implement CDC microbiologic folate testing protocol
- vii. Perform real-time PCR (qPCR) for infectious diseases on Applied Biosystems TaqMan Array Card (TAC) platform Implementing laboratory assays as per protocol and relevant SOPs
