Key Responsibilities:

  • i.Organize and supervise the implementation of all surveillance activities at various levels including household, environmental and health facility levels;
  • ii.Ensure availability of requisite study supplies and materials at all times;
  • iii.Serve as the point of contact and principal source of information on study matters and deliverables for the site; and produce regular progress reports as required;
  • iv.Develop and design local training for project staff in collaboration with the study investigators;
  • v.Work with scientific staff to ensure collection of high-quality data;
  • vi.Work with other investigators to conceptualize and develop analytical plans for various data;
  • vii.Provide study updates and liaise with relevant sub-county and county health management teams, MOH heads, opinion leaders and community advisory boards;
  • viii.Work with project leads to contribute in the analysis of scientific results
  • ix.Submit periodic reports of project status to the project team while identifying gaps and areas requiring further strengthening.

1 Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: - Biomedical Sciences, MedicalSciences, Public Health, any relevant Social Science or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; Mandatory
2 Good analytical skills and experience of using at least one statistical package such as R or STATA Mandatory
3 Have an in-depth understanding of Good Clinical Practice principles. Mandatory
4 Must be willing to reside in the study area Mandatory
